job description**

The CSR position is responsible for aftermarket business development. This position will be instrumental in achieving the department's business objectives which in turn will continually increase, improve and develop our aftermarket customer base as well as our percentage of market penetration. The position requires a self-starter to further cultivate, expand and support an established customer base through after-market sales of parts and service while working closely with our equipment sales force. The counties for this position are Abbeville, Anderson, Greenville, Greenwood, Laurens, McCormick, Oconee and Pickens (this is subject to change but the general area will remain the same). This position reports to the Branch Manager.

Working hours: 8am-5pm



--Execution of market strategy

--Attain and or maintain desired market position with assigned territory and accounts.

--Make necessary cold calls and support calls,

--Increase aftermarket sales and profits

--Identify, communicate and work through customer problems, issues and opportunities with the company.

--Sell operator training to be performed by our director of training.

--Quote and sell repairs, preventative maintenance and parts.

--Maintain accurate records of sales calls, customer files and sales activity information.

--Maintain continuous communication with service department, equipment sales representatives and other departments.

--Team with the branch manager to develop new accounts


--College degree preferred but not required.

--Prior sales experience and forklift industry (or similar) experience. The applicant can be stronger in one area than the other.

--Strong understanding of the aftermarket sales process.

--Professional management style.

--Accountable for performance metrics.

--Strong teamwork skills.

--Proficient in the use of a computer and various software packages.

--Ability to read and interpret documents and the ability to write routine reports and communications.
